ARTIST BIO

Mia Wend, a contemporary abstract artist based in Melbourne, Australia, has been painting since 2010. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings and emotions, she uses the flow of paint and bold brushstrokes to create expressice pieces. Each of her artworks has a spiritual meaning. Her preferred media includes alcohol inks and acrylic paint. She combines this with techniques such as paint pouring and mixed media on canvas and paper to create unique, visually striking fluid art pieces.

I have been transforming my life through art since 2010. I have combined my emotions and wonders of nature, channelling them into vivid, powerful and captivating paintings. Teaching myself various techniques has empowered me to express my unique vision and share it with the world, spreading positivity along the way.
